Scottish-born, long-time Kāpiti Coast resident Jim Gorman worked in Aotearoa New Zealand as an illustrator, cartoonist, designer and arts editor from the late 1960s. Besides his graphic work for many well-known publications, he painted in acrylic, oil and watercolour. In the 1990s he also started making small bronze figurative sculptures – mostly of animals. This survey spans 50 years of Jim’s work.
